Come join us for a fun-filled night of searching for nocturnal birds! With migration being in full swing we will have some additional nocturnal birds to see. We will look for owls and Nighthawks, and maybe we will see some late mating Woodcock, and elusive Black-crowned Night Herons, and Eastern Whip-Poor-Wills.

If you come walk the forest of Cope in April and May you will see the forest floor covered in a beautiful palette of blues, purples, pinks, whites, and yellows.

Greenery Make & Take
We will be hosting a Greenery Take and Make. While the adults are making their greenery, children can go to our classroom and make a Christmas craft. There is a $20 Ticket Pre Registration Required for the adults.
Opt Outside
After the joys of Thanksgiving when you connect with family and friends, why not take some time outside to connect with nature?
Owl Prowl
"Who cooks for you?" "Who cooks for you?" a common phrase we hear from one of our native owls in the night. Come join us at CEC in the MC Davis room to learn about these birds and their superb adaptations that suit them for night time hunting. We will then go on a starry night hike to see if we can find any of our feathered friends on the property. Make sure to dress for the weather and one of the goals is to have as little light as possible. If light is needed please try to bring a red lamp.
Thankfulness Hike
Come join us for a beautiful afternoon fall hike as we explore the beauty of Cope and reflect on what we are thankful for. Be sure to bring your cameras so that we can take pictures of what we are thankful for and share them with each other. If you enjoy fall weather, taking pictures, and enjoying nature, then this is the hike for you to join! Free Hike; Meet at the entrance of the Living Building.
